Southern Refrigerated Transport

When we returned from our failed attempt at living on the Osprey and making a smaller environmental impact on the planet the first thing we needed was a source of income.  We sat down and looked at the various jobs available to someone approaching 65 (that would be me Jim).  Even though I have a BS and MS degree at this point in my life (Senior Citizen) I was having problems in finding a job.  However, both Bonnie and I have a CDL a Commercial Driver License with a Hazardous Material Endorsement.  We researched several companies that would allow us; Bonnie, Tiger our cat, and me to team in a dedicated truck.   We selected SRT Southern Refrigerated Transport out of Texarkana, Arkansas.  We attended their orientation and were seated in a 2008 Freightliner.   And the adventure began and continues.  It seems that trucking companies like to have husband and wife teams running their equipment. So now we are sitting in a corner office with wheels on it.

We will take some pictures and tell you about the sights we see.
